Hey Mama!

I’ve mentioned before, but my mom is my best friend. We’re basically inseparable. We joke that people probably think we’re weird because always together, but I’m totally okay with that! She is way cooler than me and has taught me countless important life lessons like: you will always feel better after a workout + girl’s weekend, happy hour is the best hour, always be honest, and be on time (still working on this one). She has helped me every step of the way with Wildflower by spending her days at markets, tagging products until late at night, + picking up supplies or running errands for me when I’m in a pinch.

Not only do I feel lucky to have my mom and so many other women in my life that I can look up to, but this year is the year of growing families and adding generations. My best friends are having babies! Like what?! A few of my best girlfriends announced they are going to be mom’s and I could not be more excited for them! It’s so cool to see girls that I’ve known for 10+ years step into this role.

These exciting announcements have shifted the way I’ve always thought about Mother’s Day all these years. Not only is it a day to revel all that my mom has done for me, but now that my friends are having kids, this day of appreciation is feeling extra special.
